camper application process
The goal of our application process is to get to know the personality and needs of our campers. This helps us match campers with a 1:1 counselor who will be a good fit, and also helps ensure our medical staff and team are ready for campers to make a smooth transition to camp.
Due to high interest, space at camp is limited. Applications are processed on a rolling basis and camper spots are assigned based on cabin availability for each specific camper. Applicants must submit an online application AND complete an interview with our leadership team to be considered for a spot in a cabin. We expect camp sessions to fill up quickly, so please complete your online application and interview as soon as possible.
Please remember, even though we try to accommodate every individual who applies, a submitted application does not guarantee acceptance.
step 1: online application
All applicants, including returning campers, must complete an online application. As part of this online application, you will be asked to upload the following:
Government-issued photo ID (for campers 18+)
Copy of your insurance card(s) (front & back)
Signed Participation Agreement
Online application due date: Monday, April 2, 2018 (@ midnight PST)
step 2: Interview
Once your application is complete, you'll receive an invitation via email to schedule a call with a member of our leadership team. We like to chat with you to help make sure we've got everything you would need at camp, to discuss your goals and needs for the week, and to see what we can do to make sure you has a safe, comfortable, and fun week at camp.
For returning campers, these are done via phone, and for new campers, we like to do them via Google Hangout video chat so that you and your family can meet our team face-to-face.
NOTE: Applicants will not be considered for a spot in a cabin until they complete their interview, so make sure to schedule yours as soon as you receive your email invitation!
Step 3: medical documents
For the health and safety of all of our campers, every camper must complete a medical exam and have their doctor complete the Camp Promise Medical Form. As part of your online application, you will be asked to upload the following:
Camp Promise Medical Form signed by the camper's doctor*
Copy of camper's immunization records
Additional medical directives (optional)
NOTE: We cannot accept medical forms from other institutions. Please have your provider sign the Camp Promise Medical Form.
Medical documents due date: Monday, May 14, 2018 (@ midnight PST)
STEP 4: welcome packet
All accepted campers will be notified via email and will receive the following to help them prepare for camp:
List of theme days
Directions to camp
Suggested packing list
