the jett foundation
Since 2001, the Jett Foundation, has worked to find treatments and a cure for Duchenne muscular dystrophy while improving the lives of those affected by it. Based in Kingston, MA, Jett Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization.
In 2009, Jett Foundation and many individuals across the country joined together to create Camp Promise as a solution for campers during a summer in which other camps for youth with muscular dystrophy were cancelled due to the H1N1 flu outbreak. Since then, Camp Promise has been a program of the Jett Foundation, which also provides year-round adaptive programming for youth with Duchenne in Massachusetts. The foundation also provides advocacy services for families affected by Duchenne, educational opportunities for parents and families, and fundraises to support Duchenne research efforts.
