Mallory Wolff
Unit leader, camp promise-Rockies

When was your first year at Camp Promise?
My first year at camp was in August of 2014. It was the year that the Camp Promise-Rockies site debuted in the beautiful Evergreen, Colorado!

Why do you keep coming back to camp?
Camp Promise provides a positive and supportive environment for campers and counselors alike. Each member of the Camp Promise team is motivated by one another to make a difference from start to finish. Camp has furthered my growth in more ways than I thought possible, and I thrive in knowing that there are still opportunities for learning ahead. The magic of camp is infectious, and I love taking part in spreading this magic throughout the week.

What's your favorite camp theme day and why?
If you know me well, you would know that I am not shy when it comes to dressing up for camp themes! I never fail to come prepared with a (giant) bag of accessories to share. While it is hard to choose, my first camp's Robot Day is most likely my favorite theme. This is determined by the number of accessories I had prepared, which were more than I would like to admit...

What's your favorite camp memory?
Any activity where the entire camp comes together tops the list. Bonfires, dances, even Kangaroo Court—you name it.

If we did a talent show right now, what would your talent be?
Mastering any and all 80's trivia pertaining to entertainment, politics, and popular culture.

What’s your day job?
I am currently a full-time Social Work student at Colorado State University, working as a lab operator in one of the computer labs on campus. When I am home from school, I work as a waitress for a senior living center.

Anything else you want the world to know?
Camp Promise is simply the best. Join our team to find out why!
