A week at camp isn't just a life-changing experience for our campers, it can be an incredible experience for their families as well. Some are nervous to drop their child off for the week, and some can't get away fast enough. And while they've gone on a solo trip to NYC, refinished their floors, focused on their camper's siblings, or stayed in their PJs all week, all parents arrive at pickup renewed and ready to greet their camper with a big hug.
Some families have even gone on a "campcation", signing up their camper for camp in another state and making a whole family vacation out of it. The family drops off their camper and enjoys a week being tourists and enjoying new scenery while camp is in session.
We know camp does a lot for our campers, but it also means a lot to parents and caregivers. Read below some testimonies from parents who share what camp means to them and their family, and learn about the impact that camp can have on family members who don't even come to camp!
